Folding all-mountain aluminum poles
The FR-5 F.L. LITE are folding poles made of aluminum. Perfect for many outdoor activities such as ski mountaineering, hiking, snowshoeing or splitboarding, they are the ideal companions for experienced hikers who enjoy difficult multi-day trails. Precisely because of their features and technologies, the FR-5 F.L. LITE are a recommended model for mountain guides. The handle is the Ergo Foam, which is extended with a soft foam layer on top of the shaft creating additional grip points.
The Ergo Lite features the patented T.C.S. (Automatic Top Click System) release system, which allows the strap to be adjusted and removed in a few simple steps. By lifting and pulling out the wedge that locks the strap, the T.C.S. mechanism can be operated quickly and easily. This system is useful not only for adjustment but also for washing and/or replacing the strap. There are 3 parts that make up the rod, 18, 16 and 14 mm in diameter respectively.
Wired technology allows sections to be joined and folded through a simple button. This system keeps the plastic-coated steel cable running through the units taut or loose, depending on whether you want to join or fold them. When closed, the poles take up only 34 cm and become conveniently portable even inside a backpack. you can also vary the length of the top section thanks to the U-Lock, a locking system.
