The Petzl Oxan carabiner is a high-strength black tactical steel carabiner designed for use in harsh environments. The oval, symmetrical shape allows optimal loading of the carabiner when setting up anchors, connecting to metal structures, securing your Bergen to a vehicle, loop line connection or river crossing Bergen security. The Petzl OXAN can be connected to a CAPTIV bar to favour positioning of the carabiner along the major axis, to limit the risk of it flipping. Red band indication provides a visual reference when the carabiner is unlocked.
